Welcome to Planet Nude, a new newsletter dedicated to exploring nudism through its history, art and culture.

At Planet Nude, we believe that all humans are united by a shared nudity, and that everyone has the right to safely feel comfortable in their own skin and to experience the freedom and joy of being naked.

What sets Planet Nude apart from other nudism newsletters or blogs is our focus on the philosophical and historical aspects of the movement. We will be exploring the origins of nudism and nude activism, and looking the social and cultural implications of nudity. We will examine nudity as a way of life.

There are other places to find reviews of nudist destinations or listicles detailing everything you need to know for your first trip to a nude beach. Instead, Planet Nude will be taking a deeper look at the ideas and principles that underpin the nudist idea, and profiling incredible people who are living their lives in authentically naturist ways.

In addition to discussing the history and philosophy of nudism, we also strive to showcase nudism’s unique aesthetic. Art has a long tradition of celebrating the human form, and we will be featuring the work of contemporary and historic artists who are inspired by or inhabit the naturist philosophy.
